Solar Link ZERO is a compact measurement control display terminal based on a small PC. It measures and stores the power generation status of solar power generation in real time, and also controls inverter and equipment. Measurement and control data can be uploaded to a server via wired LAN or wireless communication, and can also be used for remote monitoring and PR display. It is highly scalable, and can be used in a wide range of situations by combining it with various products and options.

Conformance Label (STAR-1)

Solar Link ZERO has obtained the STAR-1 conformance label under Japan Cyber STAR (JC-STAR): “Labeling Scheme based on Japan Cyber-Security Technical Assessment Requirements”, a labeling scheme for IoT products led by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA).

In recent years, as risks such as personal information leakage caused by cyberattacks have increased, we ensure our customers’ safety and security through the following enhanced security measures:

@ Enhanced Authentication
Mandatory password changes upon initial access, along with the use of device-specific passwords, reduce the risk of unauthorized use.

A Protection Against Brute-Force Attacks
Access restrictions are applied after a predefined number of failed login attempts, preventing unauthorized password cracking.

B Control of Critical Information
Measurement data and authentication information can be deleted or initialized via the web interface, preventing information leakage when devices are disposed of.

C Enhanced Communication Security
Encrypted communication using TLS 1.3 or higher, combined with blocking inbound access from the internet, significantly reduces the risk of cyberattacks.

Measurement

Equipped with two RS-485 input/output ports, it can measure up to 30 inverters* on two systems. It also supports a wide range of measurements, including smart meters, analog, contact, and pulse signals.
*Depending on the inverter, there may be restrictions on changing the measurement interval or the number of units that can be connected.

Point

Control

It commands inverter output and equipment ON/OFF control according to the purpose and scene. It also responds to output curtailment requests, and as an output curtailment unit, ZERO retrieves control schedules from the power company's server and issues control commands to the inverter. Data related to control is uploaded to the server and can be viewed from a remote monitoring screen.

Usage Scene

Communication

Network connection is possible via wired LAN or wireless communication, so you can choose the connection method that suits your location and situation. If you choose wireless communication depending on the installation location, you don't have to worry about line construction or wiring. Uploaded data can be displayed on a remote monitoring screen.
In addition, you can access the web application from a wireless communication terminal such as a laptop. You can easily set the screen taste and patrol speed from the web application, which leads to improved work efficiency.

It supports remote monitoring and output curtailment using LTE communication, and in self-consumption solar power generation, it automatically controls the generated power according to the power consumption. It has a compact case that can be installed in a space-saving manner, and can also measure analog and pulse signals.

Functions

Inverter Communication Method

Detailed data for each inverter and each string is measured via RS-485 communication.

Output Curtailment

As an output curtailment unit, it obtains the power company's control schedule and automatically controls the inverter.

Self-consumption Control

Power generation control based on power consumption suppresses reverse power flow caused by excessive power generation and maximizes generated power.

LTE Communication

Measurement data is uploaded to a remote monitoring server using an LTE line.
*LTE communication function is a paid option.

The compact housing allows for space-saving installation according to your facility.

Connect to FLIPLINK

Smart terminal block Measures analog and pulse signals measured by FLIPLINK.

A small and simple terminal block type remote I/O born from the idea of integrating a terminal block and a measuring instrument. Four models are available: solar radiation/temperature input (ST), contact/pulse input (DI), contact output (DO), and analog input (AI), and they measure and output signals by communicating with Solar Link ZERO.

Supports a wide range of applications when combined with other products and options

Remote monitoring system & service L・eye Monitoring Screen

L・eye Monitoring Screen displays data measured by Solar Link ZERO and will send emails if an abnormality occurs. You can also use the "L・eye Monitoring App" for smooth remote monitoring using your smartphone, and "L・eye Comprehensive Monitoring" for monitoring multiple power plants.

Local Display

Directly connect the Solar Link ZERO T5 to a display via HDMI. This allows you to display measurements on-site with minimal effort and cost.
In addition, new design and content screens have been added to the existing screen designs. You can choose the screen that best suits your system configuration, such as displaying storage batteries or electricity purchased and sold.
